  Re: Train Module at BayLUG

(...) I'm interested, though it's only fair to say I won't be there this time. Yet, put this in your pipe and smoke it: what about having a train-themed meeting for November? Note that I'm replying to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf in hopes that even more (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.sj, lugnet.trains.org)

  Re: Train Module at BayLUG

(...) The GMLTC is currently discussing the possibilities of being at the NMRA show next year in San Jose. We would very much like to do it, but we would need some "support" (ahem!) from either the NMRA, or perhaps even TLG / LSI (dreaming!)... Our (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains.org)

  Train Module at BayLUG

Would people be interested in seeing how the GMLTC modules are made? I am working on one and am trying to finish it before the BayLUG meeting. I would prefer to hear that people are actually interested, though, as it is really putting me under the (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.sj, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: GMLTC at the NMRA National Convention

Profanity aside, one can buy LEGO sets in numerous places. Try Target, K-Mart, Wal-mart, Toys-R-Us, to name a few. Also, if one lives in the US, one is able to order via LEGO Shop-at-Home service. HTH, John (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: My new Engine: SD70M

(...) Nice model. Big too (I visited Portland last week, and met Kim and Steve Barile for lunch and got to see this engine in person).   Train sticker sets

I have been recently renewing tacky and missing stickers on some of my old loco's, using excact copies made by my brother on his sticky plastic cutting machine. They look as good as the originals with the exception that the white print and logo (...) (25 years ago, 3-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) First, *Thanks* for the kind words! TLG so far has given us two keychains, and an "Idea Book". We've contacted them a few times, and a few 'Special Events' people saw the layout at The Great Create last fall. They say "Great job, keep up the (...) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: A challenge for seasoned Lego Trainers...

Can I interject a bit here for my own clarification? We're talking about a LEGO only solution, right? I've added Kadee couplers and uncoupler magnets to perform this type of remote uncoupling, but that may not apply in this thread if the solution is (...)
