  MSLTC website is back online

After a little reengineering, we finally have our site back up and running. You can check it out at www.msltc.org Feedback is encouraged so let us know what you think! -- Rob Hendrix (22 years ago, 16-May-02, to lugnet.trains.org.msltc)

Re: They say a picture is worth a thousand words...

Alrighty... While no one was looking I "fixed" it. Apparently, Netscape didn't like some of my variable names, while Internet Explorer just worked. I renamed some variables and now it works with Netscape (5.2+!) I was originally trying to be (...) (22 years ago, 16-May-02, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc)

Chris--Don't Read! My redesigned train engine

My friend, who works for CN, has been admonishing me for a long time about those 'darn European bumpers' on my engines. So I finally caved in and reworked one of my engines, and I'll rework all the others as soon as I get around to it. Anyway, have (...)   Re: They say a picture is worth a thousand words...

(...) Honestly, I believe Netscape is on the way up .. the war is really heating up now with AOL. (URL) makes it so much more important to follow core standards. (URL) (...) Ya know, I noticed that.   Re: They say a picture is worth a thousand words...

(...) Um, I think it may be a disservice to make a site so fancy that it works only in IE. Netscape is fading away but not gone completely yet. There are other browsers out there too. I try to leave ultrafancy features out of sites so that they work (...) (22 years ago, 16-May-02, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc)

Re: They say a picture is worth a thousand words...

(...) I am lucky to see them despite of NS 4.7 ... Some really cool models and at least as impressing as Legoland Germany. Regards, Ben (22 years ago, 16-May-02, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc)

  Re: Advanced Design Train Roundhouse

(...) Thanks for the links Ed! This one is really impressing: (URL) to see some real designs. Most roundhouses I know are from model railroaders... So far I have only seen one in real live (just 30km away from here, but no longer in use). Regards, (...) (22 years ago, 16-May-02, to lugnet.org.us.lucny, lugnet.trains)

(...) Or click on following link. I did a 5 minute hot wire into my image gallery browser for those "challenged" browsers. Written in Javascript and compatible across all browsers.   Re: They say a picture is worth a thousand words...

(...) Do yourselves a favor and open the page in MSIE (I know you may hate it, but at least it will work). After I discovered that most features of my (standard) JavaScripting and menu system failed in Netscape, I gave up trying and just went for (...)   Re: Work in progress, an EMU

(...) Very nice on the real-brick build. Notibly nice alternative now knowing that you don't have any 1x2x2 yellow windows. Here's an idea pending you might buy some yellow windows and lots of 1x4x1.3 1/4-curve-top bricks. It sure is easy to build (...) (22 years ago, 15-May-02, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Advanced Design Train Roundhouse

Hmmm, Lot of meat here. I'll try to be brief: I've done about 4/5 complete iterations on my roundhouse and turntable over the last five years. The latest was completed for the PNLTC show at LEGOLand California. Gallary Pictures are at: (URL) (...) (22 years ago, 15-May-02, to lugnet.org.us.lucny, lugnet.trains)

  Re: SCLTC in Lego Magazine

Scott- Good to hear from you. SCLTC is also doing "The National Orange Show" in San Bernardino over the 5 day Memorial Day weekend. It will be a reprise of Fullerton, with some small improvements.   Re: SCLTC in Lego Magazine

Congradulations guys you have hit the big time. If you look close you can even make out a couple of Michons in the background of picture one.
