Re: NGLTC pictures from Atlanta GATS 2002

The shay was made by Lewis Valentine, and yes it does work. The only problem was that our layout wasn't 8wide compatible, so I guess we'll have to work on that in the future.....maybe :) See ya in a few weeks, jt (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains.org)

Re: NGLTC pictures from Atlanta GATS 2002

Great work once again! Can't wait to see some of it in Jacksonville Feb 2-3! Love that shay, who made it, does it work? I am working on a 6 wide version, hope to finish it soon. But, it does not look so good... Build on... Robin Werner Greater (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains.org)

NGLTC pictures from Atlanta GATS 2002

The North Georgia LEGO Train Club (NGLTC) displayed for the fourth year at the Atlanta Great American Train Show. This show was packed, there was a huge line a half-hour before the show was supposed to start, they ended up opening early. I don’t (...)   Re: German Steam Engine BR50: MOC finished

(...) Well done again Ben!! Thanks for all pictures showing details and the partly built model. I can see that there is a lot of clever solutions put into the construction. I think the 7-width gives good proportions to the model - it really has an (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Train related MOC's

(...) Mark - I love them to bits. Finally, someone else building some classic British steam engines. As for you mixing colours on the 0-6-0, I'd love to know where you got those curved-top bricks in grey. I've seen black (Sith Infiltrator 1x2s), red (...)   Re: German Steam Engine BR50: MOC finished

(...) Thanks! It is just the "competition" among uns fans, that make our models so good (and still better and better). I am daily amazed what a development in building has been taken place during the few past lugnet years. (...) I think the fun with (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Yet Another ISSC entry, Galloping Goose #7 at Dolores Station

(...) Deadline for entries was "last minute of last day of 2001". But Rene got a huge flood of entries at the last minute, and there is formatting and suchlike that he has to do for each one. So it's taking him some time to get them all posted. I (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Track Designer (TD) custom piece

Ross, Have you in Rendering Properties got Transparent set to FF00FF ? and is that the same as the magenta you are using? It does create all the other bitmaps, but you have to place the the object at those angles on the layout. Regards, David (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jan-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

Yet Another ISSC entry, Galloping Goose #7 at Dolores Station

Well, my entry finally got posted: (URL) is the Rio Grande Southern Galloping Goose #7, the later model passenger version, at Dolores Station based on a reference photograph. (...) This is a gorgeous MOC, Ben-- kudos to you! I have to laugh at how much you Deutschers are into "SNOT" (you even have the T-shirts:-) What fun you all must have at your fests...   2nd annual TOWN building contest - early warning!

Last year at this time I organised a Town building contest which turned out to be a lot of fun. I'm gearing up to do the same thing this year, beginning Feb 1st, so I'll just letting all you townies know that it's coming up (now you've had a chance (...)   Track Designer (TD) custom piece

I couldn't find a group for TD, so I apologise in advance if I missed it. I'm trying to render my station in TD, and have a couple of questions: 1. The help says the background should be magenta. I did that, but it just shows up as magenta on the (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jan-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

  Re: SCLTC@GATS Images on Website!

Yup. I'd like a personal copy, and a couple for the NBLTC. So that makes at least 4 for the UK. On Tue, 15 Jan 2002, Jon D Hayward (<Gpz2Hy.AIp@lugnet.com>) wrote at 09:10:08 (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.trains)
