  APT version 5

With some excellent comments from Carbon60 and Rob Latham, I have continued with my APT set. C-60 happened to be working on the APT; neither of us knew the other was working on it! He's got his great efforts accepted to the APT-P restoration (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jun-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: UKLTC has arrived

(...) I guess I'm not really looking for an argument here, but just to point out that we *already* have "multiple groups on different things" right here on LUGNet-- that's kinda the whole point of the LUGNet NGs, isn't it (as opposed to 1 noisy (...)   Re: 9V Train track DAT files?

(...) I believe they are yellow because in older LEGO instructions and flyers, the electric contacts on things like plates and wires are shown in yellow. So the other electrical parts modeled in LDraw also use yellow. But IIRC it is a special yellow (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jun-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.trains)

  Re: UKLTC has arrived

(...) Harvey, I don't see a problem with ELTC! In fact I already joined. What's wrong with having multiple groups on different things? I belong to so many different groups.   Re: 9V Train track DAT files?

(...) I found an unofficial straight track model. The weird thing was that it had yellow conductor rails. I changed the color to light gray, and they look good. (Other than the yellow rails, I think that they are excellent models.) I forgot who the (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jun-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.trains)

  9V Train track DAT files?

Does anyone happen to have a DAT file of any of the 9V train track? Especially the straights, but also curves, switches, and cross overs. Thanks in advance! Jake -- Jake McKee AFOL LUGNET Member #211 (23 years ago, 12-Jun-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.trains)

(...) Maybe that's what I'm getting at-- exactly *what* is he forming, and *why*? To me, LTCs are not virtual; in fact, they are quite the opposite.
