| (...) Actually, when I was writing my previous, I was a bit in doubt what type of bench to advise: one with hinged supports and plate ore tile beams, or the type I wrote about in my post. You've found a nice combination of these two ideas, and (...) (18 years ago, 24-Jul-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

| Ok, I changed the bench and accordingly icreased the size of the base of model. I didn't redo the bench quite in the way that you told me to, but I actually like this version, so I hope you do too: (URL) The back end of the bench only sits on 1x1 (...) | | | | Re: Minifig-scale sports car
|
| (...) Yes, the snot work goes in all four directions on this one. In fact, the wheels are schleimed facing down due to the 1x1 slopes used as wheel wells. Speaking of which, with all of the wheels that Lego produces, you would think they'd have the (...) (18 years ago, 24-Jul-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

| (...) It's got VROOM. Schleimin' nice curves on the front. It appears to have overgrown its wheels a bit, but no biggie. But an automatic???? Meow. (BTW good to see you in Philly) JOHN (18 years ago, 24-Jul-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

| I built this last week and posted about it in another thread, but I never did actually 'announce' it. So here it is--a six-wide two-seater with the top down. Click the pic for many more shots. | | | | Re: Local snack-bar

| (...) Thanks for your compliments. The bench is just supoosed to be a bench for people to eat their snacks on. It's actually more decorational, just like the original bench (all my friends who live here and have seen my pictures argued with me that (...) (18 years ago, 21-Jul-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

| Thank you all for your very positive comments, I really do appreciate them. (...) I actually wasn't all that happy with the bench, but I couldn't come up with anything better that would still fit the scale, so thanks a lot for your advice. It sounds (...) | Hello Robert, It's a nice model, with a good level of detail for the scale you've chosen. I would consider to make the bench besides the back door six studs long, and model its shape with brown grill tiles, in order to mimic the very narrow beams (...) (18 years ago, 20-Jul-06, to lugnet.town)

| What a cute building! I think that's a great choice of prototype, Robert - small, characterful, and a few non-rectangular features to make it an interesting challenge to build - and you've really done a good job of catching the character. I (...) (18 years ago, 20-Jul-06, to lugnet.town)

| (...) SNIP That is one great MOC! If that is your second "pretty" one then you're doing just fine. I like the roof, and the SNOT on the back is pretty cool. I'm guessing that's a bus stop on the side? Keep up the good work, Jeffery MacEachern (4 (...) (18 years ago, 20-Jul-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

|
| Hi everybody, this is my second post on Lugnet and I haven't really introduced myself yet, so I thought I'd do it with a little MOC I made with the Ldraw-tools: (URL) It's a model of a local snack bar that has been around since 1921 (if you want to (...)
