I recently found at a store near me the following two Extreme Team sets. They don't seem to be in any of my S&H catalogs that I have, nor are they in the regular LEGO catalogs that come with new sets. I have thought that perhaps these are some type (...) (25 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.town)

I'll attempt to clarify a couple of the questions. 1) Which was the Widest town vehicle produced? - This set was released as a part of the TOWN range between 1978 - 1999. Therefore it IS minifig scale. 2) Apart from the color schemes what else is (...) (25 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.town)

(...) I'll agree here. The problem I see is that there already are lego sets and themes designed for younger children: Duplo, Fabuland, Basic... If they 'juniorize' the older kids' stuff, then what's not to stop them from juniorizing things like (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.town)
