Re: Such a dark and drizzly place this has become.....

(...) *laughs* I used to have a Lego room in our first house, which was about half the entire floor. Then in our second house, for about the span of a month, I some how managed to claim an entire floor. When I move out and get an apartment, I figure (...) (25 years ago, 25-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

(...) :-) Yes, I have my own Lego room. But there is also a freezer, refrigerator, a dresser, and some computer boxes in there as well. The last three are being moved out and I have a guy coming in making custom shelves and 1 (maybe two) more tables (...) (25 years ago, 25-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Once Again, Legoville...

(...) First of all, Jonas, don't despair. This is a learning process! The gret thing with Lego is that you can undo and rebuild so easily. Here's some ideas of where the problems you're having might be coming from... You may be trying to make your (...) (25 years ago, 25-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Once Again, Legoville...

Check out these websites for some architectural inspiration: (URL) will have to scale these down of course but the ideas are there for the taking. You might also check out the instruction scans on www.brickshelf.com. Easiest way to do this would be (...) (25 years ago, 25-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

  Once Again, Legoville...

I'm sure that quite a few of you fellow adult fans of Lego were eager to see how Legoville turned out, but looking over it this morning, it seems to me as if my 'Town' has turned into a 'Town, Jr'. Why? As it would appear, I have no sense of modern (...) (25 years ago, 25-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

You have a 'Lego' room? Damn! Maybe when I live on my own I can dedicate an entire corner of my apartment to Legos. Whew! (25 years ago, 25-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

Re: Such a dark and drizzly place this has become.....

Well, where are all the collectors? If hardcore collectors want to talk about their town then I would come on here and talk about my town...however I'd have to agree that I'm busy planning a suburb for my city. I just painted all the wood strips on (...) (25 years ago, 25-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

Re: Such a dark and drizzly place this has become.....

(...) I would assume some of them are in Trains (come on, a trainset without a town is boring, and a town with a train (and a monorail (woohoo!)) is just that much cooler). (25 years ago, 25-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

  Town test

test test test..... The rain in spain falls gently on the plain. Bye, bye miss American pie, drove my chevy to the levy, but the levy was dry. Saw the good ole' boys drinkin whiskey and rye sayin' "This will be the day that I'll die..." (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.off-topic.test)

Re: Such a dark and drizzly place this has become.....

(...) LOL :-) (...) Yes, it is sad. I'm a townie, but I almost never post here, because I'm busy building my own town. When there are no good sets to discuss, all we townies can do is build our own things. --Tobias (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

Such a dark and drizzly place this has become.....

Where have all the townies gone? long time passing....... A once lively little newsgroup has turned into a rather barren ghost town (no pun intended). All because of one word.....junior....It seems the only posts here ae about how bad Town Junior (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

That's a nice Hospital, too bad I don't have any of those windows. I just finished a Bait & Tackle Shop, which I have placed on the corner. I just built a 16x8 stud blue-and-white building with a neat skylight. However, I am still not sure what to (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

Imagine this. The first 2000 catalouge has been discovered and found on November 17, 2000. The first scans come up. After flipping through some new Star Wars sets, the new line of Pirates, and some more City Centre on page 14 you read this: (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)
