Re: New MOCs: town vehicles and a tie crane for train

(...) I thought it was a Kershaw like the one I did a while back, but I'd never seen one that rides the rims of the gondola cars like that. Way cool! (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

Re: New MOCs: town vehicles and a tie crane for train

(...) Hi Pierre, I was looking at these this morning....wonderful all around. My favorite is the 'flat nosed' truck cab. Thanks for posting these, they will keep me out of trouble tonight as I am going straight home to build! Great stuff. Thanks, (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

  Quilt Shop

After a 3 month slump in building, I found some inspiration again. Over and over I tried working on this little shop. Stopping each time, with no inspiration. Well I've got it back, and the result is a small quilt shop. (URL) have at least one other (...)   Re: Lego Superhero Comic Book

(...) Tim, I think what Jesse was trying to say over his 40-some lines of suggestions (that just as easily could have been summed up in 2 lines) was that he wishes the story would have been presented with "G" or "PG" rated exclamations vs the (...) (22 years ago, 27-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

Re: My First Mini MOC/When do YOU get the urge to build?

I couldn't sleep. I was already awake...It seemed logical to go ahead and build it while it was fresh in my mind. MCH (...) (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Lego Superhero Comic Book

Yeehawr! That's great stuff! Nice little popcultrefs sprinkled throughout as well. There are one or two spots with a small crinkle in the layout and page flow, but that's easily forgiven based on the overall quality and readability. Besides, (...) (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

How freakin' fun is this?!? Too cool, man! Quite a fun little story, and the names and metaphors are making me roll on the floor! Keep up the great work! I look forward to the next installment. Peace and Long Life, Tony Alexander (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Lego Superhero Comic Book

(...) Well, Brian, and company, I must say that I am quite impressed with what you have done. Is this the very first time that you have ever done this at all? Well, for the most part, it was well done, but I found some problem areas in the series, (...) (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: New MOC: Triplane

(...) Thanks, I need all the help I can get! The size of the engine had always bothered me, but I couldn't seem to get it to look right (hence the useless tubing). The plane looked to thin 4-wide, and to fat 6-wide. I stuck with 6-wide and made the (...) (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

  Re: New MOC: Triplane

(...) And criticize I will :) The motor looks a tad too bulky, the pilot can't really see out of his cockpit. My suggestion is to tune down the engine area or make the pilot sit higher up in the fuselage (a combination?). Also, the tri-wings sit a (...)   Re: Lego Superhero Comic Book

(...) Great work. I rerally like the quality of the images. You have a lot of talent to edit images and make f.x. I have some comments, though. The characters could be a little more intelligent. They were kind of dumb, but it's ok if it was what you (...) (22 years ago, 26-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)
