(...) Ok, check out the picture of the crane here <<img (URL) Am I correct in thinking that the boom of that crane is not one piece but actually something like 10 1x6x5 (?) cross-braced pieces placed in alternating orientations with funky supports (...) (16 years ago, 28-Aug-08, to lugnet.town)

I was mulling these new parts over while walking to work today: (URL) I was muttering to myself about them being yellow but then I thought they might be good for a spine car or the inside bottom of a container car? One of my newest models is made from only 9 parts, but I think it's a pretty cool thing. (2 URLs) It's a lounge chair (chaise longue), as you might see at a beach or poolside setting. Almost all of those sets look like they'd be good future purchases (even though I don't need any more construction equipment.) My favorite is 7632, the crawling crane. Very nice work. The other crane seems a little funny looking to me. Maybe its (...) (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town)

(...) It is a definite possibility. I guess we'll find out once: a) we get our hands on our own US version of the catalog, b) we get our hands on the set. If true, it will make for a nice addition on some train/town layouts. Have Fun! C-Ya! Rich (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town)
