I saw this on Brickshelf earlier today and thought it looked pretty good.
It's nice to see a working 4x4. Well done.
Any dats or description of the drive/gearbox?

| (...) The secret to a srong gearbox is to get all the gears completely in mesh with each other, not so the gears only just touch ( as seen in the gear boxes of the 8880 and the 8448 ). I no longer have the model assembled and I don't have any (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)
