| | I've just thought of an explanation why some 2L axles have a notches a quater of the way along. I reckon it's so you can grip the end with a nail and pull the axle out of a socket hole, It's never occured to me before. Steve (24 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)

| | | | | | | Its been my experience that the notches are used to "click" them into place. Example: slowly put one into a full gray (or red) bush, you can "feel" it "click" or "lock" into place.
