Congrats on getting it off successfully...it took me some work to get one
off and I ended up bending the spring slightly. However in my testing it
seemed that the large pump, even without the spring, performed a bit worse
than the smaller pump (heh...I had to do a science fair project and actually
did it on this stuff). It seems that the large one just takes too much force
to push and given a bit of time, the small one can compress more air.
