  Re: Technic Aeroplane

Hi, Umm... I had a quick look at the instructions again, and there are only two gears in the inner box as there should be. Your right that three gears would make movement immposible! Bye, Martin (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

Hi, Thanks for the comments. I spent many hours trying to figure out a design for a joystick. Eventually I found a web page where someone had already got a working model. My design is based on that, but made much smaller. The original design is at: (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

Yeah, the springs on these yellow shock absorbers are much stiffer than the normal ones. Although on the Silver Champion, even they are not enough to hold up the chassis properly (sometimes when it is pushed down, it stays down). They work quite (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Okay I see; thanks for the information. The 12V motor is not any more powerful than the 4.5V one? That's strange...I wonder why it was released at the same time as the 4.5V one (when it was nearly identical to it); the only other difference (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

That is an excellent design for a joystick. I had been trying to figure out how to do one myself. Out of curiosity, did you get this from some real machine, or did you invent it from scratch?
