Yeah, the springs on these yellow shock absorbers are much stiffer than the
normal ones. Although on the Silver Champion, even they are not enough to
hold up the chassis properly (sometimes when it is pushed down, it stays
down). They work quite well with the alternate Silver Truck model though.

I have an opinion about this problem. I feel that the shocks are adequate
for the front suspension of the Silver Champion if they used axles rather
than friction pins on the suspension arms. There is just too much drag on
the pivot points. They sure work good on the Silver Truck.
