  Re: Question about shocks

(...) Yeah, the springs on these yellow shock absorbers are much stiffer than the normal ones. Although on the Silver Champion, even they are not enough to hold up the chassis properly (sometimes when it is pushed down, it stays down). They work (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 4.5-volt Technic motor

(...) Okay I see; thanks for the information. The 12V motor is not any more powerful than the 4.5V one? That's strange...I wonder why it was released at the same time as the 4.5V one (when it was nearly identical to it); the only other difference (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Technic Aeroplane

Great model! I tried to figure out the joystick design for some time and I think there is a mistake in the instructions - It seems to me that there should be only two gears inside the inner box. With three gears I think left-right movement will be (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build)

  Re: Technic Aeroplane

That is an excellent design for a joystick. I had been trying to figure out how to do one myself. Out of curiosity, did you get this from some real machine, or did you invent it from scratch?
