Just tried logging in for those web extra's for the silver loser. First, it wouldn't take my nickname (Duq). Little window pops up saying the name must be a minimum of 4 characters. I bought mine in Dublin last year. Every toy shop seemed to have a few on the shelfs. The 8456 Fiber-Optic Multi Set also includes ones of these. The only thing I don't like about these is that the switch is somewhat hard to operate (some practice is required) and that it can only send current in one direction. It also runs out of (...) (25 years ago, 29-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

First of all: yes, I totally agree! It's great not to be alone.... I own some early technic sets from when I was 10-14 and some I bought last year. Because the removal company (Maguire in Bray, Ireland, beware!) was particularly careless I lost a (...) (25 years ago, 29-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

I fully agreed with you. Ofcourse Lego may make such sets but not as a replacement for the "old-style" sets. Maybe they should make every year a model for the "old childs"? (A nice Technic set with a lot of gears and nice mechanism) A few month ago (...) (25 years ago, 29-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)
