Hi folks, I've just put a new website online with a couple of my recent Technic creations, a "technic figure scale" skid steer loader and a mobile crane. (...) Eelco, from what i can see, it seems to me that your gear tooth width is too big. You might want to shorten the distance between the left edge of a tooth and the right edge. You might find they mesh better, but with a characteristic known as (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

Hello, It is about 20-25 years ago when I last playede with my 4.5 volt motor, but I remember them very vell. You should be able to buy new "points" at any electronic-part shop. As I remember it they are "single" but I guess that the screw is the (...) (25 years ago, 12-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

You should take a look at the ldraw program and the .dat files which accompany it. I have seen gears in there - see how they tackled the problem and take it from there. Also, from looking at my own gears here the teeth are not a straight pyramid (...) (25 years ago, 12-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

I bought the Expert kit on sale at ZanyBrainy about 3 months ago. It has a certain "neato" factor. Its worth it for that but has its limitations.
