  Re: pneumatics

Well, if you only need some of the parts, perhaps what you should do is sell or trade off the stuff you don't need, or find a buyer who will take the bits you don't want? If two or more people split up a few packs, then the cost should be reduced a (...) (25 years ago, 9-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: pneumatics

(...) I disagree, John. This kit is great and fairly affordable. The only better source for pneu parts is the Tow Truck 8462. It's not widely available in the US (DYA has several for around US$70, but add $20 for shipping, and be prepared to wait a (...) (25 years ago, 9-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

  pneumatics

I am disappointed, specifically in the so called pneumatics parts pack (5218). This pack is nothing more than a boatload of Technics parts that you may or may not need sprinkled with one each of pneumatics parts that you actually want. You may need (...)   Re: (Lack of) Availability of micro-motor

Hey Brad, I don't know this for sure, but I am willing to bet that the micro motor will always be available, just not at certain times. LEGO will tell you they are not available because they are not in production, or are out of stock. They will make (...) (25 years ago, 9-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

  cable repair for 4.5v motor?

Has anyone ever repaired a power cable for a 4.5v motor and battery case? Some of the pins that hold the wires in place have disappeard, although the actual points are still there. Know what I mean? I guess what I'm talking about are the tiny screws (...) (25 years ago, 9-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) There's an incomplete list here: (URL) also one in <set:6979> to spin the fibre optics doo-dad. There's a good chance other fibre optic sets will have one, too (isn't that what it's used for on the Shuttle?). Ran (25 years ago, 8-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

  (Lack of) Availability of micro-motor

Hi, I don't usually post here since I'm usually a town person, but I use technic parts to automate my town stuff. The other day I tried to order more micro motors and LEGO Shop@Home said that they were back-ordered until at least October and they (...) (25 years ago, 8-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)
