I have 2 combinations I can use, 1 drawbar trailer or a semitrailer, and one
more going on,
so to recover something, yes, I have something.
The problem are that the pneumatics are to weak to be able to lift it, as I
tried it.
And about the the large wheels?
Wheel, I have over a 100 of those, so thats not a problem anyway.

Ok, so this is a very productive month.
I was in a mood of doing something simple after alot of trial and error • with
the crane on the TGA.
So I was searching the net, and came across this (again)

so after a few phonecalls, the model seems to be reality, and its • completed
sofar
that I know I will be able to finish it off.
Its not the first time Im trying to make this model, and the first time
I had to cancel it since I couldn't get the neccesary information.
This time things where different, and I was luckily enough to get some • help.
The most interresting part are the boom, which is extendible and can be • used
as a crane,
also the boom on the tilt are extendible, this part would be to thick if • I
copies the drive on the boom.
So this is made manual, I will just have to add some details to it, and
redesign it a little bit.
Also I managed to sqeze(?) in a drive in a space of 2 bricks and one • plate
high.
This was a success after many hours of thinking, trying and alot of • hours
going with my beauty sleep.
So, in the meanwhile, while the folder are being moderated,
enjoy the pictures

Looks good!  Very large and color coordinated.  Where did you get all • those
tires?  It looks like you have a lot of legos.  Do you have enough other p • ieces
to build the payload of this tow truck (the truck that it will tow)?

Hi Jan-Tore, It seems you are back again. The FH is impressive. It is always a pitty the pneumatics are far too weak. But I think it is a very heavy model. I saw your TGA as well. As far as I know you are the first one with a 1:13 TGA. Greetings (...) (20 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic)
