Hmm, same inner diameter -- that would mean they'd work just fine as
pneumatic tubes, then, right?  (Unless they'd *pop* because they're too
thin? :)

Yup, I tried it.  But considering that I have only two small pieces of thin
tubing and probably about 20 feet total of regular pneumatic tubing... (can't
get T connectors without buying tube, just got two more service packs :-)

It crossed my mind that the thin tube might work as a sort of pressure
indicator on the principle that a curved tube tends to straighten as its
internal pressure increases (that's how most dial-type pressure guages work)
but I couldn't get that to work.

(...) Yeah, you can...I have way more T's than pneumatic sets--they're used as details in Model Team engines, eg, 5571 comes with eight. --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com ---...---oooo-----(_...o---...--- WWW: (URL) (25 years ago, 25-Feb-00, to lugnet.technic)
