  USS Constellation On S&H

Hi guys! It is like a dream come trough! I guess its has nothing to do with technic, and I guess you already know, but the USS Constellation will arrive shortly, and maybe we are seeing a start of the expert series as well? Have a great summer! jt (22 years ago, 3-Aug-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 8448 worth it?

Jake, No prob. Glad I coule help. You're probably not going to find the 8448 for $75 though...but here's to hoping that you do. I don't have the silver champion but I've read quite a bit about it and checked the inventory and all that. Your view of (...) (22 years ago, 3-Aug-02, to lugnet.technic)

Thanks Luke, you really helped the decision-making process on my side. You sound like you know what's going on so I'll keep an eye out for the 8448....but only if it's less than $75 =D Before you mentioned it I had already researched the 8480 (...) (22 years ago, 3-Aug-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 8448 worth it?

Jake, Well...I do own the 8448 and 8466 and I've put an RCX and motors on the 8448 so here's my take on it: I came out of the dark ages through the 8448 (much as you have with the 8466) So there's a special place for it in my heart :) I bought the (...) (22 years ago, 3-Aug-02, to lugnet.technic)

Technic's Dead (was: I need Technic)

Guys, I hate to break it to you, but Technic as a theme is dead and it didnt just die all of a sudden due to Lego's 2002 vertical marketing scheme but has been on a downhill slide for several years. Alot of the discussion about his topic confuses (...) (22 years ago, 3-Aug-02, to lugnet.technic) !!

  8448 worth it?

Hey guys, I've got 8880 and 8466...both at a bargain. IMHO, 8466 is the better of the two but I still appreciate the engineering that went into the 8880. 8466 seems to have most of the features of the 8448, but I can't seem to motorize that 4x4 and (...)   RE: I need technic!!!...!!!

I would agree here. The last few years have all been large car kits. I think there could be more construction equipment. I think we could have large and complex farm equipment also. I love the space shuttle (8480) I think they could do a large (...) (22 years ago, 3-Aug-02, to lugnet.technic)
