(...) I think it's the 2x6 weight you refer too? It's very hard to find that part outside US w/o using Bricklink since Dacta is limited. Still, they are very expensive. Looks very good! I like the job you did on the bucket. It looks very real. Amazing what you have done at that small scale. You really need a "macro mode" on that camera. This one, like my CAT 980G, is almost done, it is minus a good bucket, tracks for one side (which are supposedly in the mail!), & a few plates (also coming). I liked the cab design on it, which inabled me to use up one of those windows! It uses (...) (22 years ago, 12-May-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.technic)

I am not a big fan of Lego pneumatics either, but they are so light weight and a perfect solution in your application. The micromotors have so little power, that you would have to gear them down to get any holding power for your grippers. Then (...)
