(...) Apart from 8448 & 8466, I also have at least ten black #4s from 8450, a couple in 3800, plus the eight green ones in 8446, and 2 yellow ones in 8457 mentioned in Peeron. That's all I know about currently! As shown by it's use in 8448 (in the (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Is the last prophecy changing?

I ran a "blank" character to the observatory today, I wanted to get a screenshot of the constellations. Has the last prophecy, under the constellation of the Mata Nui face (1009925424) changed? I thought it used to look like the Makuta was attacking (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Online Game Help?

Could someone please help me with the online game. I have heard people talking about surfing etc but could someone e-mail me a list of all the things that should have been completed or at least point out a website which has some sort of guide for (...)   Re: bushing (bush) question

(...) No, I've found that all the half bushes share the same width: 1/2 stud. (...) Again, I've found that two old style half bushes together (with the tooth side facing each other), are _narrower_ than a full bush (or two smooth bushes). They are (...)   Re: bushing (bush) question

(...) Note also that Type 1 & 2 are also slightly wider than a smooth 1/2 bush - about half the thickness of a tooth wider. Two of them butted together (tooth side) is exactly the same width as 2 smooths (or a single full bush). And as TJ says, (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Ball & socket joints.

(...) Unfortunatlly there are only 4 ball & socket joints in the Storm trooper. neck, left and right shoulder and left elbow. I chose wrong the first time I picked. I'll have to check out Pohatu. Doh, I bought a C-3P0 and a Kopaka last night (needed (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.mecha)

  RE: bushing (bush) question

(...) Type 2 is newer, probably because the Type 1's were too hard to take off the axle. I've noticed that most of my loose Type 1's have a hairline fracture on one side. (...)   what sets include the #4 angle connector?

All I know of are the 2 red ones in the 8448 super street sensation. Are there any other sets that contain this part? What other colors does this part come in? (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic)

Thanks for the excitment Geordan. I'd like to correct or rather explain something Dave said...(it's below) (...) Here's the deal.   Re: bushing (bush) question

(...) Based on my experience, out of over 200 Type 1's that I own, only a few have ever split in half. Having recently acquired a used 8880 supercar (which uses Type 2's), I now have over 20 split Type 2's, and that number keeps increasing with use. (...) (...) Sorry, Geordan...I'm the only one who gets to see it early and that's only because I live close by...everyone else has to wait another 2 weeks.   Re: Ball & socket joints.

John, A few of us got together to 'do the math' on the various sets that contain the 'ball with axle-hole' part in them. We discovered that, using retail prices only, Pohatu was by far the best deal. He contains two 'ball with axle-hole' parts for (...) (23 years ago, 23-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: bushing (bush) question

(...) They're pretty much the same. But I think Type 1 bushings often have a tighter fit than Type 2 bushings. It really depends on each specific part and its particular tolerances.
