Re: Bionicle Card Tournament w/ Exclusive Prizes!

(...) This and the LegoLand scavenger hunt mask are sounding horribly similar to Nintendo's Pokémon #151 "You can get it only if you manage to get to our special event and manage to win a contest" deal. Then again, from a business standpoint, (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Bionicow (was: I like Whenua)

(...) Well, the Mata Nui critters are creations of LEGO since they are in the Flash game and the Upper Deck card game. Obviously they're never going to release them as sets, though that would be an extremely cool thing. Something to go in the (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

This is great! I don't have any of the Power Puller wheels, but I want some now. Could you show any more details on the mechanics of the model? I'd like to see exactly how your motors and drive train are set up as well as the suspension. Or is this (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: LEGO cheat on LEWA graphic

FWIW, I too am disappointed. Pretty much all of the Bionicle figures appear to have more articulation on the packaging than they do in reality. It is a good product line to be sure, but it would be truly GREAT if all of the implied joints actually (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: LEGO cheat on LEWA graphic

(...) Caveat emptor, man. But a more prominent actual photo on the package _would_ be most welcome. However, I think you're overstating the case rather a lot. The earlier thread about Onua's color had more merit as a complaint (but eesh! that (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.dear-lego)

  LEGO cheat on LEWA graphic

My 11-year-old son noticed something in the A4 sheet which accompanied the Bionicle Lewa (the Green one). The sheet has the designation 4130831.
