Where did these names come from?

The last box of stuff is about to arrive home from my Pacific Ocean travels, supplying a habit I never expected to acquire: a taste for Pacific island languages. Dictionaries coming tomorrow! Meanwhile, I have been wondering, these Bionicle names (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Mask holders

I've noticed that Star Wars laser cannons make pretty good mask holders. The small end has a hollow stud that can hold a mask. The laser cannons can stand-on-end on a 1x1 attached to a baseplate, or stick straight out from a wall. -gyug (24 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Saw the new Boxed Bionicle sets at TRU in NJ

I was at the TRU near the IKEA in NJ. They had all the large boxed Bionicle sets except the remote controlled ones. They wanted 80 bucks for the two catlike Bionicles. Thats alot of dough. Gotta jet. Jason F. (24 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Is there such a thing as Bionicle MOC's?

Sure, it's possible. Just like it's possible to do with Throwbots. I have one posted at (URL) a simple example. There are miscellaneous Technic parts included. Each individual Bionicle set does not lend itself especially well to building alternate (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

I guess it would have helped if i put it in the correct subgroup :)~ The question still stands....   Re: Comic #2 out, Promo listed

Actually, I just got the "Bionicle Power Pack" that includes one of these little guys. They are a lot better than they look: for instance, the body, legs and arms are all seperate pieces. I wish both arms could throw, though. The left arm is made of (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.general, lugnet.promo)

(...) Why? You can just get the Happy Meal "prize" without actually buying any food. There's even a key for it on the register. I've bought up to 20 toys in a single transaction.   Longest Instructions?

Just opened my Silver Champion. Now I don't have an 8448 or any Mindstorms but I wondered if the Racing truck alternative model was the first Lego model to crack 100 instruction steps. Is this a record? Psi. (24 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic)
