To All, The parts that were listed, some are useful, some are not, depending on the person (Which is a huge part of LEGO anyway), I would like to see some old sets come out again or at least some new sets using those design criteria, complicated (...) (24 years ago, 24-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) are *not* junk. The corrugated tubes are extremely useful, not only for decoration but for constructing flexible articulated touch bumpers in robots. While I agree that the Technic sets of late are slightly dumbed down from previous advanced sets I don't think we can condemn TLG as a whole. It seems that the ingenuity that went into sets like 8880 is now being spent on Mindstorms. And you have to (...) (24 years ago, 24-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)

Any guesses on how much money The Lego Group would make, overnight! if they re-released the JCB set, the old red tractor or the original test car or indeed any of the many other fantastic technic sets there used to be?
