  Re: Two New GBC Modules..

(...) It's hard to tell from that picture, but pause the video and you'll see the balls run up at a 6-stud spacing. That means the peaks of the wave are six studs apart. The cams are spaced with one pulley plus a half bush, so are spaced exactly one (...) (17 years ago, 14-Aug-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: 8275 Bulldozer...

(...) [LEGOSet 4958] Actually, the new Dino set (not available here yet either) looks like a good source for the new RC items, I was more looking forward to a bulk source of the new tread links, and the bigger sprockets. ROSCO (17 years ago, 13-Aug-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Two New GBC Modules..

(...) Speaking of remorseless shameless copying, I spent an hour and half last night trying to build the crankshaft. I can't figure out the pattern those pulley wheels are using, especially how much space is between them. It doesn't look like the (...) (17 years ago, 13-Aug-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: 8275 Bulldozer...

(...) Anyone have any idea whether this set will be sold in Australia? I was kind of expecting it to be sold here as it's really a starter set for the new remote and motors. If it's not, we miss out entirely on the new items. Thanks (17 years ago, 13-Aug-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Two New GBC Modules..

(...) Thanks! I knew of that site (which is very great GBC inspiration indeed), but I never really looked at the mechanism there. This is just too great to have any remorse shamelessly copying :-/ I wonder if regular cams (6575) might work too, I (...) (17 years ago, 12-Aug-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: 8275 Bulldozer...

The 8275 Bulldozer is listed as Available Now at Lego S@H. (URL) (17 years ago, 11-Aug-07, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Lego man rescued from the sea

Lego man rescued from the sea

Posting in Technic 'cause I couldn't figure out how to post in other topics... Maybe someone could help me with that... From (URL) (follow link at bottom for a picture too!) ***...*** A giant, smiling Lego man was fished out of the sea in the Dutch (...) (17 years ago, 8-Aug-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Two New GBC Modules..

(...) I have some more pictures uploaded; (URL) here> and (URL) here>. The cut-away part in the lift is actually from a shortage of 1x4 bricks, but I agree, it turned out nicely. I'm just now realizing how quiet it is, I can't really say for certain (...) (17 years ago, 6-Aug-07, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Two New GBC Modules..

(...) pictures of the interal mechanism? And how is it on jamming? I really like the way you left one corner of the lift tower open, it just looks so much better with the ball motion visible. When I finally get a ball pump working that I like, I (...) (17 years ago, 5-Aug-07, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Two New GBC Modules..

(...) It's actually pully wheels. The original idea came from (URL), the one I made is longer. (URL) This is how the pullys are attached. Since there was no room two join the two drive axles, the pulleys are also used to hold them together. Piece (...) (17 years ago, 5-Aug-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Two New GBC Modules..

(...) Great stuff, I also like the wave very much, the movement is really smooth. I've wanted to do something like that for a while, but I'm still unsure how to drive the movement... how did you do it? You seem to use 3-way blades, am I correct in (...)   Re: Two New GBC Modules..

Some very well done modules Kevin. I really like the "Wave" module. It moves quickly enough to make it more interesting than a slower set of steps. Bryan (17 years ago, 5-Aug-07, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: 8094 mod: automatic plotter (memorizes in control center)

Just a guess, but maybe you've run into a memory limit in the device such that once x many commands are stored it ignores all commands after that. I don't own one of these, so if you're feeling up to it, you could take yours apart to see what kind (...) (17 years ago, 27-Jul-07, to lugnet.technic)

8274 Combine Harvester now available at S@H

$94.99 CAD $69.99 USD As usual, we Canadians get shafted. (And shafted HARD - the exchange rate is ALMOST the same now for $US-$CAD) (17 years ago, 27-Jul-07, to lugnet.technic)

Re: 8094 mod: video now available

On Brickshelf and Youtube. I recommend you tube (faster) but if you want to save it (10mb), I put it on the same brickshelf folder. (2 URLs) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

8094 mod: automatic plotter (memorizes in control center)

Hi, I've been building the 8094 models recently with my 8485 (and spares.) Then I realized that the 8094's original plotter model really sucks: you can't really memorize a pattern to let the machine write for you since the pen needs to be lifted and (...)   RunBot

I saw this on Slashdot: (URL) find it interesting that parts of this robot are TECHNIC-esque. That and the fact that the robot walks and runs like a real person. (17 years ago, 13-Jul-07, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Turnpike, Train MOC
