Re: Small Pneumatic Hex Radial Engine

(...) <snipped the rest> Well, well well. Small is beautiful. Be it pumps or cylinders. Great work! CS (19 years ago, 18-May-05, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

Re: Small Pneumatic Hex Radial Engine

(...) Great! How does it preform? What is the RPM? (when connected to your compressor & when pumped by hand) What is the torque? - David (19 years ago, 17-May-05, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Small Pneumatic Hex Radial Engine

It has been a while since I posted any new MOCs, so it pleases me to share this with you. Well, after the success of my compact small piston radial pneumatic compressor, I decided to try my had at an engine. (URL) that pistons have two ports, and (...)   Re: GBC strikes back: 3 new modules!

(...) Wow. Oh... my... WOW! How you can do so much with so little and yet make it look so good, it just amazes me. These are absolutely wonderful, and the video of the full assembly is spellbinding. Thank you! OK, now where are all those long (...) (19 years ago, 16-May-05, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, FTX)

Re: GBC strikes back: 3 new modules!

(...) These really are wonderful. As Steve says, you really are raising the standard - but my message to anyone is not to be daunted but inspired by Philo. I think the GBC possibilities are only really beginning to be explored - who knows what else (...) (19 years ago, 15-May-05, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Pneumatic steering

To all those lugnet guys who have built those huge MBenz actros trucks- How do you implement the pneumatic steering? Thanks. (19 years ago, 14-May-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: color and number

(...) Usually, Lego parts are not painted, but rather the color comes from dyes in the ABS itself. Hope that helps. Andrew Meyer (19 years ago, 10-May-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Pneumatic steering

(...) Hi Vineet, Here is one way to do it: (URL) prototype was built when I was thinking of building an articulated truck. The same principle can be applied to any kind of steering where you need three positions. The key element is the controller: (...) (19 years ago, 12-May-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Pneumatic steering

(...) Up to now I've just moved the two levers of the input valves. My system uses 2 large cylinders facing each other. The steering arm moves 3 valves, which are offset from each other and two of which are pulled by rubber bands. Sorry I haven't (...) (19 years ago, 12-May-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Relative or absolute?

(...) My design will be functionally absolute, while being artistically relative. PS: Good question! (19 years ago, 12-May-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Pneumatic steering

How do you people set it up? Do you use those small pneumatic pistons for the steering? If not, then what? How is the system operated? Do you use a gear-operated valve? Do you have any LDraw designs that you could show me? (Sorry for the redundancy (...) (19 years ago, 12-May-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Relative or absolute?

  Re: Relative or absolute?
