  Re: Scissor Rail

(...) No, The marble lands back on the jack. I have Uploaded two new pictures to illustrate this (URL) moc's ability to launch marbles came as a surprise to me after its latest revision. I had recently reenginered the slide and switch of the jack (...) (22 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic)

  6 speed+Reverse Transmission Update

I have completed my 6 speed+Reverse transmission, and these are the specs: -0.54:1 ratio -width only increases by 2 or 3 studs (not quite sure yet-probably 2) -6th gear slot fits easily on top So the lows are the width increses and the ratio is (...)   Re: BAYLIT or Bricklink?

(...) And to make it even more complicated, BAYLIT has a store on Bricklink: (URL) I've purchased from both- never had any serious problems. (22 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: BAYLIT or Bricklink?

I do most all of my shopping through the shops at BrickLink. 99.9% of the shops there have flawless service, just look at their feedback before ordering. Baylit has been a valuable resource for items that are not available through any of the (...) (22 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: BAYLIT or Bricklink?

(...) What I meant to say was: Do you prefer the stores (any of them) on Bricklink or BAYLIT? Sorry. (22 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: BAYLIT or Bricklink?

(...) That's not a simple question: Bricklink doesn't sell parts. Many hundreds of people sell parts *through* Bricklink. BAYLIT is a single store, Bricklink is hundreds of stores. James (22 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.market.shopping)

  BAYLIT or Bricklink?

Just a quick question: Do you prefer purchasing single Lego parts from BAYLIT or Bricklink, and why? And which do you seem to have more problems with receiving parts? (22 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Quick, informal poll

As the curator here, I'm curious: • Do you like the News Spotlight on the sidebar? • Do you like the New MOCs feature (with thumbnail images)? • What else would you like to see added to the sidebar? • What would you NOT like to see on the sidebar? (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Fiber Optics

(...) I have one from the 8480 Space Shuttle. I've taken it apart (it comes apart with just a little effort and no damage), hoping that I could swap out the red LED for a white one. Didn't take any pictures, though. And swapping out the LED is not a (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.general)

Cool Lego Site of the Week

Hi all, I was sort of surprised to see BZ Power near the bottom of the list on the most recent CLSOTW poll. While I don't collect or even particularly like the theme, I think Bionicle Zone is to the Bionicle theme what From Bricks to Bothans is to (...)   Re: what else could be done

Geesh, not THIS discussion again :-) Well, I guess it's about time for the "new parts wish list" to come back around for discussion! • Bring back threaded axels in different sizes (I know non-Lego threaded nylon shafts are available, so this is for (...)   Re: Moc: Digger

(...) I won't try to explain it. Actually, I don't think I fully realize it, and would benefit greatly from seeing a model in action. Try studying this image: (URL) shows a break-down of the components and how they move. It's quite interesting. -TJ (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.loc.se)

  Re: Fiber Optics

(...) I used the fiber optics on a V8 for my 8448. I ran the fiber optics off the crankshaft so the lites would rotate with the engine. Heres's the Gallery link; (URL) There is also a Mpeg of the motor running in that folder. The mpeg picture (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.general)

  Re: new sets again

  Re: new sets again

  new sets again

hi i've got the catalog for 2nd half of year 2003 8455 if not as same as we've seen before that's what i found - not all pistons are new - the holes in new pistons are definitely round (not axle) (both are round) - valves are probably new but they (...)   Re: Centrifugal clutch?

(...) Nah, it's more in the lines of actually having work to do. I almost only "Lugnet" from work since I rather not use my computer at home if I don't have to, eight hours per day at work is enough computing for me :) Also, since I mostly Lugnet (...) (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.technic)
