My bricks are currently packed away in cardboard boxes for transport to a • new
apartment this weekend so I can't try them myself.

i've been thinking why you are not "online enough" :))) probably this is an
answer

Nah, it's more in the lines of actually having work to do. I almost only
"Lugnet" from work since I rather not use my computer at home if I don't have
to, eight hours per day at work is enough computing for me :)

Also, since I mostly Lugnet from work and use the webinterface I can't keep
track of what I already have read when I'm home and vice versa.

Do they work? How well?

the problem is there is not soft (light) enough rubber
so in fact they didn't work
i did it and the centrifugal force works perfectly ok :)
but the clutch hasn't been working at all

I thought about this and figured the rubberband has to be put on so it's hardly
tensioned at all when extended.

the second problem is i cannot control rotation speed (no RCX)
so you know... :)

The RCX is a poor way of controlling motor speed, it only pulses the power on
and off so the motor needs a significant load to actually reduce speed. A much
better way is to use the train controller or some other non-LEGO regulated
power source.

but it is now in processing

Good chap!
