Re: Micromotor movements not really stable...

it could be because when you put the axle into cross-hole in gear the gear is changing diameter almost all gears have 2 slots in let say north-south diameter but hasn't in east-west diameter that is why gears change its dimensions - beacomes oval (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Micromotor movements not really stable...

Hi all! I haven't used technic for years, but I haev done some things since newyear. Just feelt like it. I am now playing with a new micromoter (opened it a few days ago) and have added a small car to it, with very simple gearings - somthing like 1 (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)

Myself I've only connected them at a 45-degree phase using z16 gears and then used a (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

(...) It's the same design as set 8479 BarCode truck, see my photos here: (URL) the end of the page. I have scanned the instructions and sent them to Kevin Loch (adminstrator of Brickshelf) but he has not put them onto the page. I still have the (...) (...) Don't worry Marco ours Italians friends known very well this model. I presented it in Florence, Zwolle and during dadi.com (Crema)also. Thanks Andrea (22 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.it, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic)

Re: Motorized control of the 5120 polarity switch

(...) I beleived that too Tobbe - I expected lots of information on how to control a polarity switch like there is to control a pneumatic switch. I spent several hours seaching .robotics, .technic, and even the web and found nothing - only switches (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: MAN in ...blue

(...) Can't say anything else then : WOW!! And if I look at the pictures again I only go :WOW! Verry nice work indeed. If it is ok, i'm going to copy some of the lifting mechanism for the tipper (using the same princip)? That was a realy good idea, (...)   Re: Motorized control of the 5120 polarity switch

(...) I belive there should be a fair amount of info on this if you search the robotics group. It has been used to multiplex the out ports of the RCX so that one motor can drive up to four (IIRC) swicthes. Best regards, /Tobbe (URL) SPAM when (...)   MAN in ...blue

Looking for our best solution in suspension set up and drive train, to give a system able in winnig model’s heavy weight (3,5 KG) and technic gears friction, I realized in collaboration with my friend Fabio this MAN 33-414.   Re: MOC: Lynkx Mk III Radio Controlled tank

(...) Hehe, all my conveyor links are pre dark ages, thus the plates stick even worse... (...) It's not that fast or powerful, but it's not that heavy either. It can turn on carpet though, but a lot of 1 x 6 plates will fall off if I drive on (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)

I still prefer the 8862 backhoe. Much better IMHO!!

(...) Meh. The 8862 backhoe is better, in my opinion. I like how it uses a mix of pneumatics and gears+axles. I love the solid chunky tires of 8862, and they fit much better a heavy tractor than the air filled balloon tires of 8466. (Which *do* fit (...)   Re: Power Puller alternate model ROCKS!

Thanks for the tip Stephane. It looks like they have only posted part of the lessons. I was not able to get lesson 7 or 8. I sent them an email, hopefully they will repost the last two lessons. I was one of those that was not very happy with the (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)

Re: MOC: Lynkx Mk III Radio Controlled tank

Darn it Tobbe!, Stop making my own tanks look so small! I don't want to spend another $40 on conveyor links! How fast/powerful is it? I would have expected two motors per side to have enough power to even turn it. I still plan on testing gluing (...) (22 years ago, 19-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)

8457: Power Puller alternate model ROCKS!

Hello all, Back in october I got out of my dark ages and immediately placed a shop at home order for the 8431 crane truck, and 8457 power puller. Even before receiving those sets, I read on their description of the power puller that the instructions (...) (22 years ago, 19-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)

FUT ---> .castle only Hi, folks! I'm in need of some suggestions as to how to attach this helicopter rotor: (URL) a Technic axle.   Re: Announcing RCX Drag Racing Competition at BricksWest 2003
