it could be because when you put the axle into cross-hole in gear
the gear is changing diameter
almost all gears have 2 slots in let say north-south diameter but hasn't in
east-west diameter
that is why gears change its dimensions - beacomes oval
it's noticable

| Hi all! I haven't used technic for years, but I haev done some things since newyear. Just feelt like it. I am now playing with a new micromoter (opened it a few days ago) and have added a small car to it, with very simple gearings - somthing like 1 (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)
