In lugnet.technic, John Barnes writes: (Why do they make it so hard to keep in touch with F1 (...) We get evey race free over here. I still don't watch it though, it's so boring, Schumacher wins everything and Hakkinen's taken a year off. I lost (...) (22 years ago, 13-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 8461 arrives

I'd estimate 95% of sets I buy are for their parts content. I build the other 5% as an educational experience - it's important to find out what the Lego designers intend some of the newer parts to be used for - and I think I keep 1% intact. (Warning (...)   Re: T.j's right, you can never have too many cranes

(...) Thanks. (...) The truck part is 101.5cm long approx, 14.3 cm wide and 11cm high. The jib is 124cm high but if I combined both jibs into one I could go as high as 194cm maybe over 2 metres. The crane needs a space 1m x 1.2m to operate. I saved (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

Yes, and so is Jennifer! (...) Excellent model!!! That's damn nice! I love the cab shape, I think you did a good job with it.   Wire sandwich (was Re: Making 7u axles)

Re: Advance Technic Car + Remote Control Car

(...) Perhaps I could help a bit here from first-hand experience with the 8466. After much debate, I had decided not to buy the RC car (129.99) for motorizing the 8466. So instead I tried it with the rcx and/or standard battery pack (as seen in (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)
