  NWBrickCon on Nickelodeon

In an amazing twist of fate, I was contacted by Nickelodeon so they could do a spot for NWBrickCon. The spot will be on "In Play Today," a segment that happens during commercial breaks and in between programs. Look for the spot on Oct 4, at various (...)   Re: Iveco Eurostar with extensible trailer

Its very very simple how the steering works. If you ever have taken a good look on the fifth wheel on a truck, (europian ones not sure about US trucks) there are a little cutout piece in the rear, and behind the king pin (the pin on the trailer (...)   Re: Advance Technic Car + Remote Control Car

Installing motors into an 8448 is simple. In fact, they make room for 2 motors. (one in the front, one in the back). If you want to add the third and keep the gull wing doors, you'll have to do some modification, but not too much, to fit 2 motors (...) (22 years ago, 11-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

Advance Technic Car + Remote Control Car

It seems that a lot of people here, did this already. I have 8448, and I really wonder which extra set that would be a good combo to make my 8448 as a remote control car. Some people did this with Mindstorm, but I read a couple post below that you (...) (22 years ago, 11-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Making 7u axles

(...) Oops. Did anyone catch my math mistake? That should have been a 10u axle, instead of 12u. If you cut a 7u axle from a 10u, then you'll have a small leftover piece that's a little less than 3u long. Geesh, isn't Monday over yet? Oh... it is. (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)

As a heavy equipment technician here in the US, I can tell you that all of the really oversize (way over 80,000 pounds and more than 5 axles or 12,000-20,000 pounds per tire or pair of tires) vehicles here in the US use some type of remotely (...)   Re: Making 7u axles

What you can also do is use a 10U to make a 7U and also a 2U (or use a 12U to make a 7U and 4U), discarding ~ 1U. Once again, it is best to just use what you have most of, especially since 2's and 4's are rather plentiful. "Thomas Avery" (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.technic)
