Yeah, they’re great on those two criteria, but being round, they’re an awful use of space. Doesn’t anyone make square disposable bowls?!? I know there are some GladWare options but those are pricier and still somewhat rounded.

I’m thinking about using basswood or balsa strips to subdivide the sorting area, but haven’t decided to for sure yet.

(...) I use the Meijer workalike versions of these and have been quite pleased. I like that they are sturdy enough to be stackable and to hold a bit of weight. (...) I've used the small square-ish foam takeout hinged lid containers used to hold sandwiches and such as an alternative to those tippy bowls. Just lay out the container flat to get two conjoined ~5" square sorting bins, or seperate them at the (...) (20 years ago, 29-Dec-04, to lugnet.storage, FTX)

(...) Matt Chiles ordered a case of the clear plastic mostly rectangular bins you often see packaged mushrooms in (I'm pretty sure I've seen other produce in them also). The bins are about 4"x5" or so (there are also larger bins). Another cheap (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jan-05, to lugnet.storage)
