I also forgot to mention that the back two compartments are similar to the Target Plano type boxes that have more divisions. My local Target has not had these boxes in a while so I was happy to find a substitute.Now I have to reorganize the parts. (...) (25 years ago, 25-Feb-00, to lugnet.storage)

Indeed, I bought 4 of the TravelLogic 3750 boxes to help store my collection. I use 4 Plano 3730's for the big stuff (like tires), 8 Plano 3700's for most of the stuff, and now have 4 TravelLogic 3750's that I mostly use for the rarer stuff that I (...) (25 years ago, 25-Feb-00, to lugnet.storage)

I found a new Plano type storage box at Walmart, called Travel Logic (maybe owned by Plano). It has three compartments and the front one is half the size of the box. This allows for larger (width and length) compartments. The other two compartments (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.storage)

I can't answer your second question, but as to your first, there is one right answer as to how to sort your Legos: whatever works best for you. My personal preference is to sort everything by size, as I easily see the different colors and pick out (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.storage)
