  Re: New storage idea.

(...) Hmm, yeah. I see. I thought about the clearance, but because I'm 11 I forgot about how tall people get. I'm only 5'1". --Mark (26 years ago, 11-Dec-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: New storage idea.

(...) The bunk bed and lofting ideas sound good for apartments, but with your plan, some people might have a problem. Taller people will not have enough clearance to properly sit on top of the bed. At college, i had about 2 inches of clearance (...) (26 years ago, 10-Dec-98, to lugnet.storage)

  New storage idea.

I was thinking, maybe you could have a bunk-bed, sleep on the bottem, or whatever, and the top one wouldn't be a bed, it would be workspace. You have a small seat, and then a board cut in half in front of you. The front half would have hinges (...) (26 years ago, 9-Dec-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Hate the current boxes

(...) Yeh, I know what you mean -- I've have drooled over some of those large artist portfolios too. I finally settled in on using 2-gallon ZipLoc storage bags for the larger art -- stores a whole piece inside, or sometimes 2 bags fitted unsealed on (...) (...) each (...) the (...) What do you do with the artwork from the larger boxes? I've been looking for a instructions/box/catalog storage solution along the lines of a 3-ring binder, but the larger boxes wouldn't fit (I only keep top and bottom). (...) (26 years ago, 4-Dec-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Workspace

(...) [snip] (...) I live in a town of a bit under 100,000 (when the students are here) and I can walk to every retail outlet in town. (I don't - that's what my car is for, but I could.) What is walking distance anyway? I'd walk much further for (...) (26 years ago, 25-Nov-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Workspace

(...) Hrmmm, you could say I live in the burbs, I guess. Sorda. I have 3 theatres, a mall, and probably a dozen restaurants within walking distance. Also a grocery, a Wal-Mart, a TRU, SAMS, a clinic, a branch of my bank, Pep Boys, etc. Even if you (...) (26 years ago, 11-Nov-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Workspace

(...) Yes, but think of all the benefits of living in the big city. I moved to the "quiet suburbs" a year ago and now miss being able to walk to a theatre or restuarant. If I had it to do over again I would never have moved, even though I now have a (...) (26 years ago, 11-Nov-98, to lugnet.storage)

I read about that in the paper.........I thought that was pretty interesting, amazing really.... Regards Dave Mike Stanley wrote in message ... (...) (26 years ago, 10-Nov-98, to lugnet.storage)

  Re: Workspace

(...) I did that once. Only once because in my sleep I reached out to my roommate's bookshelf (about pillow level next to my bed), grabbed a dictionary, and hurled it across the room at the clock. I never woke up. My roomie showed up a couple hours (...) (26 years ago, 9-Nov-98, to lugnet.storage)
