Okay, I started this mess, and I have to say I agree on most points here.
Does ANYBODY remember the Battlestar episode where they discovered the
Battlestar Pegasus had also survived? Did they have some sort of superlaser
forward cannon? Also the captain (played by Llyod Bridges) was a military
genius. Would that not have been a better match? Another note, wouldn't
detonating nuclear warheads (assuming they are advanced weapons) create a sort
of EM pulse similar to the effect of an ion cannon, but with more widespread
effect? Any thoughts?
