| | Hi! I thought I'd share my experience with the newest of the Star Wars sets. I had a hard time finding one of these in San Jose, CA. On Wednesday, I tried 2 WalMarts & several TRU's but got lucky by asking a lady at a Target if they had any in back (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars)

| | | | (...) Darn it, I haven't seen any of these in stores yet, and I desperately want one! The set has 553 pieces in it, according to the S@H catalog. Really, at 9 cents a piece, this set is a pretty reasonable deal. Aside from the 5571 truck, I haven't (...) (25 years ago, 8-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars)

| | | | (...) I recieved my Destroyer Droid yesterday from S@H and it took me alittle over 4 hours! The set itself is rather intimidating! Lots of pieces, 553 to be exact! I am not one for the modular design, so took all the bags and dumped them all in to a (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars)

| | | | (...) I have to agree with Jamie about the building modules (the seperating of the parts into different seperately built sections). I feel that part of the fun of building with Lego bricks is finding the piece, whether you're building from (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars)

| | | | | (...) Well, I like the Modular design, simply because it is easier to build the sets. I sort out all the parts now, whenever I build the set: For example: (URL) for parts drives me nuts. | | | | I dump them all out into the box it came in and mix them up real well. I don't like the modular design at all and I wish Lego would stop it soon. Until then, I will just stir them up. After I mix them up, I sometimes sort all the pieces by color or (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars)
