The choice of a 1x2x5 for the Carbonite Han affects the entire model. In the
LEGO model, the regular 'entrance ramp' for Slave-1 is designed to accept the
carbonite block. I believe this ends up being more like a locker in the model.
Anyway, if they had made a bigger Han, the whole ship would have been bigger.
Not that that is necessarily a Bad Thing, but using the 1x2x5 wasn't just a
matter of saving money on one element, but a choice that affected the entire
kit.

| (...) I'm going to don my asbestos armor here and say that I *like* the way they did Han in carbonite. It feels very... lego-correct, whereas a complicated molded piece would be... clunky. I dunno. I still haven't seen the set (augh!) so I'll shut (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)
