I've got BOATLOADS of this piece. It was very prevalent in Ice Planet,
Aquazone, and RoboForce.

One of the UFO 'figs had black hands. I think one of the one's from the
large saucer with the vehicle in the middle.

More black minifigs heads means more cannonballs for my BSB. Though the
Sith Infiltrator has three and you don't have to break up a minifig to get
'em. I think the one-piece helmet and backpack piece really sucks the big
one! That REALLY limits the poseability of the 'fig, just like Michael
Keaton in that stupid Batman suit. He'll have to turn his entire body to
look around. Not very practical.

This is interesting. Since the piece is painted and not a sticker, that
would limit its usage just as much if it were a specially molded piece.
Additionally, a 1x2x5 brick is not proportionally correct. It should be a
little wider. My bet is TLG didn't want to expend the money for a new mold to
keep costs down. Oh well.

| (...) The choice of a 1x2x5 for the Carbonite Han affects the entire model. In the LEGO model, the regular 'entrance ramp' for Slave-1 is designed to accept the carbonite block. I believe this ends up being more like a locker in the model. Anyway, (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)

| (...) How insulting! (...) Actually, the paint could wear off. Then you'd be fresh out of a Han Solo carbonyte piece, or a stupid-looking one, at that. Mike (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)

| (...) Well, space helmets have to be removed before you can turn your astronauts' heads, which in the vacuum of space isn't very practical, either! 8^) Dave! (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)

| Well, it appears the new stuff is popping up everywhere now. The usual selection of 2000 sets mentioned in prior postings has appeared in CT (near Enfield, no surprise there) at Wal-Mart stores. I was told by my wife that I was only allowed to buy (...) (25 years ago, 16-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)
