I always preferred the A-Wing in dogfighting for the Alliance. It doesn't
have a large weapons array, but it's fast speed and super manueverability
always kept me alive the longest.
For the Imperial fleet I liked the TIE Defender the best. The tractor beam
was great for immobilizing your opponents and then blasting them with
aplomb!
