Re: An actual ATAT site! —Jeremy Crawford
I do agree that the AT-AT is awesome. It is the most detailed Star Wars vhicle I have seen yet. Keep up the good work. Do you know how many pieces is in it? I had built a B-Wing but ut was not to scale. It was a little on the small side. Last night (...) (25 years ago, 20-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: An actual ATAT site! —Jeremy Crawford
(...) The Eric Kingsley site is great as well. Does anyone know if (or how) he got the B-Wing cockpits to rotate like they are supposed to? That is one of the major problems I am having with the construction of my B-Wing. Thanks all! Demon Slayah (...) (25 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: An actual ATAT site! —Peter Callaway
(...) all! (...) Basically he has used a pair of 1x2 technic beams and a connector pin (the grey type). One beam is incorporated in the back wall of the cockpit immediately under the back-to-back 1x2 sloping bricks, and the other is in the front (...) (25 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Pete, I just figured that out last night! I had tiried all sorts of other ways to do it, and then I saw a red 1x2 technic block and it hit me! Duh! I thought to my self...So now I am almost finished with the B-Wing...Woohoo! Thanks, Demon (...) (25 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: An actual ATAT site! —Eric Kingsley
<snip> (...) Yup this is basically correct although I actually used a Brick with Side Pin in the fussilage and a 1x2 technic beam in the cockpit. Either way works so it really does not matter although just as I am writing this I am thinking I should (...) (25 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: An actual ATAT site! —David Eaton
(...) Yeah, I had to do that to the AT-AT as well... each of the 6 sloping wall sections are held in place by technic pins (theres 32 connections altogether) so I had to put the 1x2 w/ pin pieces (and some 2x2 w/ pin's) on the outside so you (...)           Re: An actual ATAT site! —Peter Callaway
(...) You are so right!!! Now I just have to find a lt. grey 1x2 brick with a side pin. I also have to get more kits so I can have a few more B-Wings as well as the X-Wings and Speeders. Oh for a S@H in Australia for more parts, especially grey (...) (25 years ago, 22-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: An actual ATAT site! —Eric Kingsley
<snip> (...) For those of you that are new to the group there are hundreds of sites out there with SW Lego Stuff on them.          Re: An actual ATAT site! —Peter Callaway
(...) You are a cruel man, Eric!!! ;-) Just make sure the pics are BIG so we less fortunate southern hemisphere AFOL's can soak up the vibe.         Re: An actual ATAT site! —David Eaton
(...) Yep, I've got higher resolution pictures, but due to ftp ugliness, I just fit all the images I had on disk before ftping them in... probably the weekend after this one (I'm busy at the Mindfest all this weekend) I'll enhance the site a lot...
