In an Interview, Lucas stated that episode 2 will revolve around the Jedi
victory in the Clone Wars.
Basically the jist of it was that the titles of the 6 movies are parallel:
Episode 4: "A New Hope" --> a new force of goodguys rising up from nowhere...
Episode 1: "The Phantom Menace" --> a new force of badguys rising up...
Episode 5: "The Empire Strikes Back" --> Badguys score a major victory over
goodguys...
Episode 2: "???" --> Goodguys score major victory over the badguys...
Episode 6: "The Return of the Jedi" --> Goodguys win the day and evil is
vanquished...
Episode 3: "???" --> Badguys win the day, the old Republic falls, and the jedi
are vanquished...

Lucas has stated that Episode II will be primarily a love story, revolving around the relationship between Amidala and Anakin, and will be set against the backdrop of the Clone Wars.
