Or better still, dark red (that new colour, whatever it is called).
I think that might be a good choice... I mean, NOONE has a yellow fleshtone
NOR a red one (although once that night have been said). So this colour
might solve the problem in a convenient way: it is close enough to brown,
just like yellow is close enough to "flesh" (I suppose that is the name for
"caucasian" skintone?).
It is not a race, but a skintone - as simple as that.
(Besides... I could actually use a number of these in my beach. Some
minifigs never seem to learn about sunscreen... ;-)

I would agree with Pedro in that this should be looked at as a skintone issue, not a race issue. As analogy: Before LEGO made an Episode 2 Anakin minifig, they never made minifigs with orangey-brown hair. Before that, you had to choose red or brown (...) (22 years ago, 7-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Lenny Hoffman brought up an interesting observation back in February, which is that outside of LEGO, sometimes the color yellow is indeed intended to signify caucasian skin tones. His example was the TV show The Simpsons. Light skinned chracters (...) (22 years ago, 6-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars)
