Jeff, this is very impressive!!! The Star Destroyer is one of those ships,
like At-At, which I had given up any hope of being feasibly rendered well.
You've shown it can be done, as Shawn Sullivan and Dave Eaton did with the
At-At. The sightlines are good, and the relative proportions of the upper
superstructure are particularly sharp, as are the engines.

The only part a bit off is the thickness of the "sidewall." Technically it
should be thinner, but given the limits of the brick, and for the relatively
small scale (I know, it's over 60 studs long - BIG, but I mean compared to
the 1.6 kilometer subject), I think you've done it about as well as could be
done. Besides, the same "sidewall" criticism could be levied at my Falcon
custom, which, by the way, I think would look great being 'pursued' by The
Pursuer in an animation!

Great work!!

Brian

ps you should build a micro Blockade Runner (Corellian Corvette) to dock in
the main hangar bay!

My largest MOC yet, it took way longer to build than I thought it would.
I'm looking forward to your comments, criticisms, suggestions, and heckles.

I just read your Brickshelf sheet about the "making of" the Pursuer, and see that you have explained the wide midline/ "sidewall," so apologies for bringing up something you'd already accounted for. Thanks for the details, they're always fun to (...) (22 years ago, 16-Aug-02, to lugnet.starwars)
