  Re: Cloud City

(...) They also made the "Rebel Transport" from ESB (The ones they use to escape from Hoth). It wasn't a playset, it was the complete ship. Basically, you could stand all your action figures in it. It was completely out of scale. Kev Z #142 (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Cloud City

(...) True, but it was also horribly, horribly out of scale. Still, *lots* of the Hasbro ships etc were subject to "selective compression". The X-wing was a bit stout around the middle and had short wings. The Millenium Falcon was pretty grossly (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Cloud City

(...) They made a playset with some of the features of the Executor, and there was, of course, the Death Star Playset, but those were the only ones that were compatible with the 3.5" figs. I've seen pictures of a prototype Tantive IV, but they never (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Cloud City

(...) But did not Kenner do some capital ships for their figures that were not to movie scale but still looked cool. Perhaps Lego could do the same. A small Minifig Blockade Runner would still look awesome if built right. Who cares about scale? A (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Cloud City

I seriously doubt they'll do a Star Destroyer, or the Mon Calimari Cruiser, or even a blockade runner, unless they do them as a UCS set. A proper mini-fig scale Star Destroyer would be quite large, and quite expensive. Basically it would require a (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: My DSDK AT AT Walks backwards

(...) Maybe putting the batteries in backwards in the MicroScout will cause the motor to run in reverse? John Hansen (24 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: My DSDK AT AT Walks backwards

(...) Although I don't have this set I do have a suggestion. Try building one of the alternate models with this set (I believe it comes with instructions for 3 different models). If those models also go backwards when they should go forward then (...) (24 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: A(n) SW set I'd love to see...

(...) I heard my name calling to me from across the ether, so naturally I must answer. :-, Karim has some excellent microfig-scale Star Wars vehicles, most of which are to the same scale and would look awesome in a diorama. See (URL). But yeah, the (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: UCS Wallpapers @ lego.com

(...) Those are great! I did notice a mistake on the TIE Interceptor schematic image. It appears the tubes along the leading edge of the wing/panels are mostly missing (only the tips are shown). The same mistake occurs in every view of the model (in (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

A(n) SW set I'd love to see...

I think a "Battle of the Death Star" (or is that "Battle of Yavin VI"?) microfig diorama would be cool. Have bunches of tiny snub fighters, like Sproat's microfig X-Wing (has anyone made a microfig TIE Fighter?), and a section of the Death Star (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)
