Re: Why we won't see the Emperor...

(...) As much as it would rock, it seems like they're only in three's *sigh* I finally ordered my Emperor yesterday. That fig would have rocked with a white or grey head. -Tom McD. (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Why we won't see the Emperor...

(...) Not me. I don't need 10 At-At Drivers, or 10 AT-ST Drivers, or 10 officers. I do want lots and lots of Stormtroopers, though. eric (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Why we won't see the Emperor...

(...) not (...) How's about a EIGHT PACK!! One Stormtrooper, one Snowtrooper, one TIE Pilot, one Death Star Trooper, one AT-AT Driver, one Sandtrooper, one black uniform Officer and one AT-ST Driver!!!! Who here would not order at LEAST 10 of that (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Or how about two 'troopers and a black-clad Tie-pilot? (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Why we won't see the Emperor...

(...) I would actually be all for stormtroopers and an Imperial officer. Matt (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Why we won't see the Emperor...

(...) You and me both, man. If Stormtroopers were only available in these (ie, not in sets) I could easily see myself buying 10-15 *immediately*. eric (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Why we won't see the Emperor...

(...) Preferably in one of these new three packs, a la the battle droids, but with no officer. Or, with one "officer" with a Tatooine-Stortrooper shoulderpad, made as minifig neckgear and removable (a la epaulets). eric (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Why we won't see the Emperor...

Ok. I can almost guarantee we won't see a set in 2001 with Emperor Palpatine in it. As I was getting ready for work this morning, I happened to be looking at the box for the "darth" minifig pack. On the top of the card (the bit that would let it (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Jeff & All, (...) be (...) in (...) Speeder (...) Hmm... I don't know. I think they all had certain aspects of character. When you think of the MF, it is Han and Chewie. (...) saw (...) any (...) £75.00? Well that's torn it, I'll NEVER convince my other half to let me fork out that much - I was kind of thinking it would be around £60.00!   Re: Are brown plates available?

(...) Dang. Sorry for that last post. I also think the vehicles had more character (to me, they WERE characters) in the original trilogy - not just SW:ANH. Consider AT-ATs, AT-STs and Speeder Bikes. The only vehicle(s) from episode 1 with comparable (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Star Wars on DVD

(...) Wow... I hope so. (...) IMO DVD is cool technology, but I won't a player until it becomes neccesary (ie: VHS dies.) The reason is DVD movies typically cost $5-$10 more than VHS, and I don't see much difference in visual quality. My former (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: My guesses again for 2001 sets.

(...) check out the Episode 2 facts section over at theforce.net (the link should be on lugnet.starwars) They state that a late 2001 release is possible, but it's more likely it will be late spring 2002. Actual filming began earlier this month... :) (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Yeah, Its definately available in Hamleys in London for £89.99, and I also saw it on www.etoys.co.uk for £74.99 a few days back. Havent yet seen it in any TRU yet though. It looks soo cool! I spent ages just holding the box looking at all the (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)
