  UCS X-Wing Review

O mighty X-Wing! Prince of Lego sets!...I have just been reveling in one of the greatest building privileges and experiences of my life...the UCS X- Wing...greater and more satisfying than both the Whirl and Wheel Super Truck and the Snowspeeder (1) (...)   Re: My guesses again for 2001 sets.

In lugnet.starwars, Jason Fabisch writes: <snip> (...) I bet it uses the new rubber treads instead of the really cool technic tractor links. (...) I think that one has to happen. Since there are already sets with luke, han, and company, I bet it's (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

My guesses again for 2001 sets.

Last I counted, there were 14 SW related sets released for the 99 model year. This included about equal numbers Episode 1 and original trilogy. Then for the 2000 model year they have scheduled to released 15 sets(includes technic droids, and (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Episode 1 sets for 2001

(...) They sound like good sets aaron, but I am afraid they will never happen. The problem is way to many mini figures. We can always dream though. Gerry (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 1 problem with click-hinges

(...) Yes, I think click-hinges should be seen as user-configurable angle-piece rather than as an opening/closing mechanism. Kerry (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Episode 1 sets for 2001

(...) Let's assume that they make five to six new E1 sets for release in 2001. Here's my list: (1) How about a Gian Speeder with Panaka and a few (2-3) Royal Security figures? (2) Famba with Shield Generator and Catapult and a few (4-6) Gungan (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Or it could be made out of the color like on that "silver" technic racing car due for release later. (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Episode 1 sets for 2001

(...) You're right, though I think it's because of the exterior limitations more than the interior. The Queen's ship has way too many curves to be rendered without great expense. Can you imagine the sheer number of slopes they'd have to use? (mmmm) (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: MOC Radiant VII just added to my page

Mr. Kuester Brilliant work (as always)--dig the white trim and the constuction of the circular sections. I'll be interested in seeing more of your EP 1 interpretations. Keep up the "time eating". Henry (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Episode 1 sets for 2001

(...) I dont't think we'll see the ship at all...there's not much LEGO could build into it--a throne room and a cockpit? I doubt they would add droid chambers--too much effort needed to make it cool. (...) ROFL! --Bram Bram (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  My thoughts on new sets

My thoughts on star wars sets are a little less grandiose and I hope more realistic. I think a naboo cruiser is out of the question because i dont see lego investing in a whole line of chrome parts and gray bricks just wouldn't be acceptable for the (...)   Re: Episode 1 sets for 2001

(...) Actually, the more I think about it the more I think it will be made out of a silver version of the color C3PO was cast in. It just makes sense. While this wouldn't be nearly as cool as chrome, it would certainly be better than the light grey. (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Episode 1 sets for 2001

(...) It would be nice, but if a Queen's Ship is made, I expect it'll be light grey, like the front of the Naboo Fighter. eric (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Episode 1 sets for 2001

Hi everyone, I think their should be some cool episode 1 sets made in 2001. I think they should do a jedi council set, with all 12 jedi council members sitting around in a little round room. I also think they should make a couple of the Neimoidians (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Initial Reactions to MTT

My SLS[1] does not at all like the MTT. She thinks it's ugly, and was severly under-impressed with it's droid-holding capacity. My 12 year old son thinks it is awesome, and was extremely excited about it, when he saw it at Meijer's last night. Go (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)
