  Mark's Lego Creations Design-A-Civvie Contest (rev B)

Hi Everyone! Ok, I posted this last friday, but I've decided to re-post and extend my deadline so more people can participate. I also eliminated the one-submission-per-category limit, so you guys can submit as many as you want! I haven't decided on (...)   Re: Mark's Lego Creations Design-a-Civvie Contest!

Thanks for the input, Bram. I haven't run a contest before, so I appreciate you letting me know what has made a good contest in the past. Per your suggestions, I think I will make those changes, if it means I will have a better/more varied contest. (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jun-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

Re: A couple stupid SW questions...

(...) He is cleverly pushed aside by the commie (not that there is anything wrong with that) Rebels, and never receives praise or a medal for his hard labor. I think that the Rebels have a Glass Ceiling of their own. Poor old Ackbar has to put (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) (haven't looked at the rules yet, but here are some comments) Although it might make judging & such more difficult, I think this contest would be much more successful if you gave more time and posted the rules to LUGNET. The successful (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jun-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: ATAT-Falcon Blueprints

I think he meant blueprints of the vehicles themselves, not MOC's. If so, maybe these links can help: (URL) - a lot of description of various dimensions and scale for the ATAT, photos but no plans (URL) ostly the same for the falcon, but with some (...) (...) so (...) I think I'd pay somebody to make instructions to some of their really great models:) . Any of you AT-AT MOCers willing to partially dismantle your model to make instrucions for it while gaining a few bucks? Sarcasm intended- --Josh (24 years ago, 12-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) What about Chewbacca? Although, I must admit, Chewie speaks better English than some of my co- workers. Jeff J (24 years ago, 11-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  ATAT-Falcon Blueprints

Although this is my first post, Ive been reading lugnet posts for some time, so Im not totally new. Im diving into the adventure of building MOC of the Falcon and the ATAT, and I need some good blueprints (have enough pics, but need the blueprints (...)   Re: Minifig packs - page updated

(...) Isn't "crossing guard" a bit of a harsh judgement in this case? Are female crossing guards normaly dressed in leather biking gear? To me she looks more like the kind of cop that makes you pull over for an alcohol control. In the same spirit, (...)   Re: Pod Bucket

And hence, TLC keeps all the secondary sellers and auctioneers in business. That "Gasgano" head would have been one of the few reasons to get the set in my view...now I am glad I have been hoarding them from other sources. -- Richard (24 years ago, 11-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Question -- 7181 UCS TIE Interceptor

Hi, folks, I have a question for those of you who are lucky enough to own a 7181, or who have at least had a good look at one. There are a lot of black wing plates in this model. Which kind? If they're Classic 4 X 8 space wings, my eyeballing of the (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Minifig packs - page updated

(...) I'm not sure if this is really significant, but I noticed that: a. Only one of the "City Heros" is female, b. They made her a crossing guard, and c. She appears to be identical to the "Town Folks" cop, except that her face is hidden by an (...)   Minifig packs - page updated

I've updated the pictures now, and they should be a bit clearer. I've also added the latest availability info.: LSB is still the main source. LLW has all but the SW ones, while S@H still only has some of the non SW sets... Pictures and details at: (...) In Battlestar Gallactica they use "Languatron" devices that actually allow you to hear spoken alien words (like our "real-world"[whatever that is] news interviews) followed by English (or whatever them children of the stars call it). That's what I've always enjoyed about Star Trek. They boldly go where no man has gone before and when they get there they discover without surprise... that they all speak English. At least Jabba and Greedo had subtitles. (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)
